Frantoio Olive Marco: 150 years of family history in Albenga
Welcome to our family-run olive mill in Leca d'Albenga, in the province of Savona. For over 150 years, seven generations have passed down the same passion: producing and selecting artisanal extra virgin olive oil that respects the land and its produce.
For us, making oil is not just a job, but a deep connection to our roots, to family values, and to the promise of offering an authentic, sincere product that smells like home.
We use traditional stone milling combined with centrifugal separation technology. This balance allows us to best preserve the aromas and characteristics of the olives, for a truly genuine extra virgin olive oil.
Artisanal quality and respect for the environment
Our oil is stored in temperature-controlled stainless steel containers to maintain its quality. We believe that every drop should reflect the care and love we put into our work.
We believe that quality is not only measured in taste, but also in the choices we make every day to respect the environment:
- We have almost completely eliminated plastic from our mill in Albenga and our online shop, choosing only paper, glass, and aluminum, which are completely recyclable materials.
- We use renewable energy from solar panels installed on our property.
- Our company car is electric.
- Heating is provided by electric inverters and the heat from the olive processing waste.
- Our rubbish is recycled daily.
These are concrete actions which are the result of a conscious choice: to give back to the earth a little of what it gives us.
