A Ligurian white wine with a unique taste, perfect for pairing with Mediterranean dishes.
Pigato is a Ligurian wine made from pigato grapes grown in western Liguria, mainly in the Albenga plain and the province of Imperia.
It is a white wine to be drunk young, preferably within three years of harvest. Its unique aroma is influenced by the proximity to the sea and the temperature variations during the night. This singular grape variety is found only in Liguria and pairs beautifully with linguine with Genoese pesto, appetisers, white meats, and fish.
